DAVID OAKES Obituary


David Edward Oakes "Davey"  
Passed away suddenly at his home in Chevy Chase, MD on November 6, 2017. He is survived by his parents, David and Nancy Oakes, his brother, Kevin and family and friends near and far. A graduate of Rockville High Shool, Davey attended Salisbury University where he studied political science and economics; he was employed by Carahsoft Technology Corporation of Reston, VA. Davey loved discussing politics and current events. Throughout his life he enjoyed baseball, snowboarding, fantasy football and summers on the Outer Banks with friends and family. A celebration of Davey's life will take place Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Glenview Mansion, 603 Edmonston Dr., Rockville, MD.
