ESTELLE A. WITTHOLZ
On January 2, 2018, Estelle A. Wittholz, aged 90, passed peacefully into the presence of God. She was the beloved mother of Lisa A. Wilson of Charlotte, NC and Charles J. Wittholz of Silver Spring, MD. She is also survived by her siblings, Florence Josiah of Miami, FL, George Josiah of Gilbertsville, NY and Wesley Josiah of New York, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charles W. Wittholz. Estelle was a faithful and beloved member of Fourth Presbyterian Church for over 35 years. Her family and her many, many dear friends will greatly miss this loving, godly, and upbeat lady. A Memorial Service will be held at the church, 5500 River Road, Bethesda, MD 20816, on January 20 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Fourth Presbyterian Church or The Salvation Army.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Estelle will always be remembered for her beautiful spirit and life of love and caring. The many contributions she made to the happiness and wellbeing of others remain, and she is thought of with much love and gratitude. Although Estelle is dearly missed by her family, there is joy in the assurance that she knew the Lord and put her trust in Him. We'll see her again.

Both Estelle and Lisa have brought so much love, encouragement and compassion to my life for so many years. There is great joy in celebrating Estelle's life, lived in the presence and service of God, and to know that her legacy of faith and love continues in Lisa. I treasure them both and give thanks for the face of God I've known in them. God's peace to Lisa and family in this moment of separation.

She was a very interesting woman. I really enjoyed our chats and hearing about her life. She loved God. She loved her children and worried about them. I'm truly sorry to hear of her passing. Our last conversation in mid December lasted over an hour, and it was probably the best conversation we have had.
