On Friday, February 9, 2018, formerly of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Ellis L. Lyon; mother of Richard L. (Joan), Thomas E., Raymond E. (Kathleen), Ellen M. Lyon and the late infant Joseph P. Lyon; grandmother of Richard, Jr., Meagan, Daniel, Kevin and Julia; great-grandmother of Westley, Jake, Kera, Emerson, Reid, Rowan and Holden; sister of Dorothy Fleming; cousin of Mary Kappel, Francis O'Connor and Helen Iardella. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
