June became my grandmother when is was 21 after her son Gordon married my mom Gale. We was very much loved and a part of our lives. My children grew up with many memories going to her house in College Park which my daughter Elizabeth called The Big Castle. My children called her Great Ma. We loved her very much and will miss her.

Who didn't love June?! She was beloved by all who knew her. She was engaging and as sweet and loving as could be and yet she had a feisty side, great sense of humor and delighted in sharing some slightly risque jokes. At cardiac rehab, everyone's face lit up when she came into the room. And wherever June was, you could be sure her devoted daughter, Diane would be with her.
I shall miss her dearly.

Dearest cousin June - I first knew you when my cousin Gordon Sr. brought you home from Australia as his bride. He was so proud of you as my father and brother, Mel and Walt were quite the threesome growing up in Baltimore and also finding lovely brides, Eleanor and my Mom, Bett, nee Elizabeth. We all often went up to Heim's shore and spent the day swimming and talking. I was only seven at the time but the family was complete with June. Pretty, funny, loving and a joy to be with especially that accent! Will miss you June but know you are in a good place with Gordon. love, Eileen Kelly nee Webb

I was very sad to hear of my Cousin June's passing , she was such an important part of my life, she was able to tell me stories about my father
Jock Sinclair, as he passed away before I turned one year old. She adored him like a brother, we will miss her so so much. Until we meet again,

I met Mrs. Heim a couple of times in the early 70's when Gordon and I used to hangout and work together. She was always a kind and gracious person to me. I know she was deeply loved by her family, and they were her world as well. My sincere condolences to the family.

June Elwyn Heim, my wonderful Aunt and namesake.
Thank you for sharing in my life with great love and wise counsel, always delivered with humour and compassion.
Thank you for sharing your vivid recollections of growing up in Australia, highlighting your devotion to your cherished family including my late father your brother Alan. These stories meant so very much to me.
Thank you for the "sisterly" bond you shared with my late mother Dot, she adored you too.
I will always be proud to carry your name and am reminded now of these words from A.A.Milne - Winnie the Pooh...
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
With much love forever, June. Melbourne Australia

My Aunty June was always reassuring with messages of love and kindness, often sharing stories of my father, giving me the gift of getting to know him better through her memories. So it is a double loss for me. Throughout my life my Aunty June helped me with her wisdom and integrity. When I look at the stars sparkling at night or the sun shining on the leaves in the day I will think of my beautiful Aunt. Love always Rosalie.

My mother was the guiding light of my life. Every time I pick up a pencil to sketch something, or sit down to write, I think of all the interest, and encouragement she gave me. She was never to busy to listen to a problem I was having, and offer sage advice, on how to solve it. Thanks, Mom, I shall miss you dearly. Love Gordon
