PETER JOHN CAPPADONA (Age 69)
On Thursday November 16, 2017 of Kensington, MD. Beloved husband of Maureen Casey Cappadona; loving father of Colin (Mary Kate) Cappadona and Catie Cappadona. Grandfather of Kelley Maureen Cappadona and a baby to be born in the coming days. Also survived by a large, loving family, Janet Cassidy Casey, Patrick Casey, Mary Ellen Scalley, Eileen Casey, Barbara and Brian Casey, Sheila and Jerry Cave, Margaret Casey, Chandler Wiegand, Joannie and Clark de Franceaux, Amy and Chris Smith. Trevor (Elizabeth), Kyle, and Brian Casey, Katie and Sean Austin, Sean (Lindsey) Cave, Connor (Jade) Cave, Matthew and Kenny Smith, Ashley and Nicholas Smith, Casey and Nicholas de Franceaux. Relatives and friends may call at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 3630 Quesada Street NW, Washington, DC 20015 on Saturday, November 25 from 9:30 to 11 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I first meet Peter at Euro Motorcars in Bethesda, MD. At that dealership I was employed as a salesman. Previous to this position I had been employed at several Maryland dealerships and familiar with their service departments and their managers. Peter's capabilities became very apparent that he was the right person for the job. He had superior qualities that other managers lacked and I admired him for this. Over time I respected these attributes and felt fortunate not only to work with him but also considered him a friend. I recently was informed by Charlie Harmel of his passing. Immediately I felt great loss. My sincerest regrets to Maureen and the family.
