Ms. Ronald was my sixth grade teacher. She was terrific. I also remember missing her a great deal when she had to leave due to the death of her spouse. She was a kind person.

Loved Mrs. Ronald. She taught us fractions using pizza as an example. 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 is forever in my brain! She was a fair teacher with a winning smile who cared about her students. When her husband suddenly died in the Midwest and she found out she was pregnant with Larry, she handled it with calmness and grace. She showed us 12 year olds how to act as an adult in face of a painful tragedy. She came back in the spring to play the piano for a St. Patrick's play. We were thrilled and didn't want her to leave! She did come back after Larry was born. But by then I was in the 7th grade. She was a dear friend to my mother, Trudy Borrell, 4th grade teacher, who died just before her 101st birthday last year. May Ruth Rest In Peace!

Mrs. Ronald was my 6th grade teacher. I remember her as a warm and caring person. The year I had her her husband passed away and she had a tiny baby. I so admired her courage and strength through that difficult time.

My condolences to the family and to all her past students at SCL. I remember her from school although she wasn't my teacher. Always heard good things about her.
