WAYNE LEE CARTY (Age 80)
On Saturday, November 18, 2017, of Potomac, MD. Beloved husband of Rita M. Carty; father of Gina C. (Richard) Vaughn; grandfather of Alexandra Vaughn; brother of John L. Carty; son-in-law of Frances Cardillo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Wayne was a US Air Force veteran and long-time employee of the Bechtel Corporation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church, 917 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852 on Wednesday, November 29, at 10 a.m. Private Interment at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area, 7700 Leesburg Pike, Suite 208, Falls Church, VA 22043.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Wayne was a wonderful kind man with a great sense of humor. We all enjoyed him when he attended our Parkinson exercise classes . He was a favorite of everyone and was a good friend .
