May his memory be for the blessing. I enjoyed every moment I spend with Peter at the gym.

Jayne's and my condolences to the entire Barnes Family. I have never forgotten the great times we had growing up together in Providence and Saunderstown. I am sorry that I lost track of him these past years.

Peter was a great mentor and role model for many young attorneys. I enjoyed working with him and our chance meetings over the years. He was a great lawyer and gentleman in the purest sense of the word.

I woke up this morning to read the sad news of Peter's passing. I walked dogs with Peter at the Shawan Rd. Field and we became friends. Our beloved Magnum and Ben have long since passed, but we still kept in touch. I was thrilled to hear from Peter as recent as Thanksgiving. I so looked forward to those daily walks and the company Peter provided. I don't know a nicer man. I think of him and say a prayer every time I ride by the field, that one day I would see him walking a poodle there again. Now, I will ride by and remember the many conversations we had, and the two dogs running happily together.
Jan, I never met you, but your name was mentioned in every sentence Peter uttered. He loved you so, and his children. My heart is heavy for you all at this time.
My deepest sympathies... Lisa Langmead
