EDDIE ANTHONY LEONARD
On Sunday, February 20, 2011; beloved son of Eddie Leonard and Krista Spruill. Also survived by five children Anthony, Tiara, Eddie, Edijae and Trevon; five siblings Kerstan, Antwan, Perniece, Dwain and David; and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 5 from 10 a.m. until time of Service at 11 a.m. at the New Covenant Baptist Church, 1301 W Street SE, Washington, DC. Interment Washington National Cemetery. Arrangements by HODGES & EDWARDS.

Words alone cannot express my sympathy on the untimely death of your beloved father, brother and friend. To say that his time with us was far too short is an understatement. The reality is that he will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him.
No doubt the outpouring of sympathy you have received since his parting has been of some consolation. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to you of how well-loved and liked he was.
I hope his family will find peace and comfort in knowing that his suffering is over and that his just rewards await him.
May God bless his wonderful family.

I am going to truly miss you. You were more like a brother to me than a cousin. I will always remember our last conversation a few days before you departed this earth. I'm sad that we won't grow old together, but I sure did enjoy you while you were here. My heart is truly broken.
