JUDITH DURST Obituary


 
JUDITH ANN MOORE DURST  
Age 74, of Medford, MA and long-time resident of Sterling, VA died on April 25, 2013 after a year-long courageous battle with lung and liver cancer. Judy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harry Richard (Dick) Durst, daughter Theresa Durst Ford and husband Loyd of Charlotte, NC and son Joseph Durst, wife Casey and granddaughter Avery of Colchester, VT. Also survived by her twin sister, June Moore Glaze of Crofton, MD and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and Judith's aunt June of New Hampshire. Mrs. Durst was retired from the Department of Justice. Viewing will take place Sunday, April 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon. A mass in Judy's honor will be held Monday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 46833 Harry Byrd Highway, Sterling, VA, followed by a luncheon at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Capital Caring, 209 Gibson Street, NW, Suite 202, Leesburg, VA 20176. For information and condolences visit: www.adamsgreen.com
