JEFFREY Y. COVINGTON
On Saturday, July 2, 2011. Beloved son of Shalon E. Covington and Jeffrey L. Blount; loving brother of Travis Covington; grandson of Theresa Covington, Charles McKnight, Cecile Blount and Benjamin Wilder; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the Johnson Memorial Baptist Church, 800 Ridge Road, SE, Washington, DC on Saturday, July 9 from 9 a.m. until the Homegoing Service at 11 a.m. Interment in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by CEDAR HILL FUNERAL HOME, INC.

Shalon I am sorry for your lost and I can never emagine your pain just know that jeff has to never watch his back and fear no more because he is now in the arms of the lord his father god and he is well taken care of so cry because you remember the good times and smile because he is at a better place.love you jeff and keep a watch out for your mom and family because you are truly missed.

Jeff I met you when we were in NC at my family house. And u chilled and rode around with me while we were down there and then we rode back to DC together..I looked at you as my lil cuz and I always will..RIP cuz and and keep a constant look out for ur family..But know that you are truly missed

To Shalon and family - Death is now a final goodbye although I know that you are griving for your love one just know that he is resting in the Arms of the Lord and even though you cannot see him or touch him just remember that the memories will live forever in your heart until you all are togather again with the Lord to never have to say goodbye again.
