RONNIE D. SPEIGHT, JR.
On Thursday, May 26, 2011, departed this life. He is survived by his father, Ronnie Speight, Sr.; two sisters, Tailor and Ronnika Speight; one brother, Javier Speight; two grandmothers, Eva Mae Speight and Susie J. Short; three aunts, four uncles and a host of other relatives and many friends. Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at First Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 602 N St., N.W. Interment Harmony Memorial Park. Arrangements by JOHNSON & JENKINS.

Big Ronnie, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your super talented son! I was so amazed when I saw him at Emery and found out he was the same young man that I remember running around the neighborhood years ago. The fact that he passed away on my son's birthday means that each year I will be also celebrating his life. I will be praying for you. I'm sure that Ronnie's mom was happily awaiting him when he arrived in heaven! Much love to you!

words were deep. All could do was think about you. I am still in shock but working real harddd. Double Time. Really Quick.

I know your mother was waiting there at the gates, with Uncle Tony, Pluck, Ronnell, Granddaddy, and your cousin DUCK. I can just imagine how you are having an Endless Good Time in the LORD. Endless Everything, just like you like it.

Dear Ronnie, I was shocked when I picked up the paper and saw that you had made ur transition. I hadn't seen you in a while but I rememberd you from Tubman and you never gave me any trouble when I was working there.
