ADELE HUTCHINS (Age 88)  

Died December 12, 2012, of congestive heart failure at Riderwood, a retirement community in Silver Spring, MD.
 
Mrs. Hutchins was a retired DC public school teacher and widow of Thomas Hutchins who died in 2001.
 
She taught psychology, sociology and government courses at both Coolidge High School and Wilson High School, and was a member of Foundry United Methodist Church and Circle Fellowship at Riderwood.
 
Mrs. Hutchins is survived by her two daughters Loraine Hutchins of Takoma Park, MD and Rebecca Hutchins, and son-in-law Dave Lohman and grandson, Corey Lohman, all of Longmont, Colorado.
 
She also leaves a sister, Grace Fritz, of Silver Spring, MD and a cousin, Lucile Dant, of Takoma Park, as well as many nieces, nephews and other beloved family members and friends.
 
Memorial service January 12, 10 a.m., at the chapel at Riderwood, followed by a reception in the Celebrations Room.
