On November 24, 2012 in Saint Mary's County, MD. Born in Cumberland, MD, grew up in Alexandria, VA and raised his family in Falls Church, VA before retiring on St. Clements Bay in Leonardtown, MD. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked for over 40 years as an Electrical Engineer at the David Taylor Naval Ship R&D Center in Bethesda, MD. He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne A. Langford. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Connie; sons Jim and Rodney (Patty) Langford; grandchildren, Ryan, Julie, Matthew, and Sarah; great-grandson, Nicholas; as well as his brother, Jack Langford. Friends may call on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA 22302 where funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA.
