Of Milford and beloved wife to Michael Nazarawh, entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2012 at Milford Hospital. Born on January 18, 1925 in Plain City, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Helen Warner. A kind, loving, dedicated and generous wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother who was adored by her family. Ann was a loving woman who built her life around being a gracious lady. She had an uncanny ability to get along with everyone who she met. One of Ann's greatest joys was spending time with her family. Ann loved playing cards with her close cousins, where they would laugh, smile, and completely enjoy themselves. Moving to Springfield, Virginia brought on more adventures; she had found herself standing on the south grounds of the White House with a small group of people welcoming back President Nixon and Secretary of State Kissinger returning back from an overseas trip, standing next to Mrs. Nancy Kissinger. One evening Ann and Michael attended an event at the Kennedy Center, where they viewed the show from the Presidential box. Ann and Michael were also close personal friends of President Nixon's personal barber; where Ann would tell Michael "that was the best haircut you ever had". Ann's journey continued with their move to Sanibel Island, Florida, where she took up painting and became a fashion model. She also enjoyed her work at the Sanibel Island Chamber of Commerce. Ann and Michael enjoyed traveling extensively to the West Coast. From Sanibel they moved to Venice FL, and several years later, we moved to Milford, Connecticut, where we were welcomed the next morning with 6" of snow.
In addition to her devoted husband, Michael of 40 years, she is survived by her children Beverly Franklin (James) of VA, Lois Nicholson of Shelton, and Samuel Rodman of Shelton; her grandchildren Ashley Guberman, Darron Guberman, Kathrine Simler, and Brian Nicholson; great grandchildren Gabriela, Dru, Anna, and Lucas Guberman, Kelsey, Molly, and Brian Simler, and Teigue Nicholson. Also survived by her brother Lloyd Warner (Jane) of OH.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with a prayer service following at
1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5 at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. Interment will be private. To leave online condolences, please visit our website at
