ANNA B. TATE (Age 97)

Anna B. Tate of Gaithersburg, MD on February 18, 2013 at Asbury Methodist Village. Devoted mother of Bill (Beverly), Tom (Leigh), and
Carolyn (J. Lawrence Kent). Loving grandmother of Kerry Martin, Rob Tate, Evelyn Sommers, Allison Cotner, James Kent, Kaitlee and Camerann Tate. And great-grandmother of Alex, Sam, Calvin and Will Martin, Marc, Louie, Rob, and Tom Tate, and Henry and Paul Cotner.
Mrs. Tate founded Capital Parties, Inc. a
Tupperware distributorship for over twenty years serving Washington, DC and four counties in Maryland. After her retirement in 1982, she served as an international sales consultant for Tupperware and was active in Altrusa International, Montgomery County's Friendly Visitor program, and as a member of the Fairhaven United Methodist Church. She loved her friends and neighbors, her dogs, and playing cards. Throughout her life, she always said she was so lucky; we are lucky to have known her.
A memorial service will be held at the Fairhaven United Methodist Church, 12801 Darnestown Rd. Gaithersburg, on March 23, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Following the service, the family will receive relatives and friends in the church Fellowship Hall.
