Anne Frances Minicone, of McLean, VA, passed peacefully to be with the Lord on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Sunrise Assisted Living of McLean, VA, due to complications from Alzheimer's. Anne was born in North Adams, MA on March 8, 1922; she joined the New York Office of The Voice of America and Retired from the United States Information Agency in Washington, DC. She was a member of the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Catholic Church in Washington, DC and was active in Our Lady of Hope Sodality.
Anne is predeceased by her beloved husband Alexander J. Minicone. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Marian Minicone (Mick Buckley) and Francesca Gerrard (Ian) and cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Michelle and Brian Gerrard. She is also survived by her two sisters Rita Baker and Viola Novak.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7001 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA on Friday, February 15 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's name to the , 3701 Pender Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.
