Was welcomed into the arms of the Heavenly Father, on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Her husband of 55 years, Kenyard Holland was by her side.
Born on May 19, 1935 in Newton, Mass., to the late Dewey and Gertrude Frazier. The devoted wife of Kenyard L. Holland, Hernando, FL, loving
sister of Mildred Williams, Salisbury, MD, the late Delores Hathaway and Jackie Stewart; Beloved mother of Michele A. Holland, Laurel, MD, Eric and Ingrid Holland, Berlin, Germany, Christin and Peggy Holland, Laurel, MD and Kenyard "Kip" and Maurita Holland, Washington, DC. Barbara was the proud grandmother of Ariane Holland, Ashley Holland, Nicole Holland, Savon Holland, and Nilah Holland.
Barbara most recently lived in Silver Spring, MD and enjoyed her retirement years in Hernando, Florida. She was a world traveler who visited Europe, Africa and Asia. She had long careers with the Federal Government, and at the George Washington University Hospital in DC. She was a wonderful woman, and lived a very good life. Loved and cherished, she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A Requiem Eucharist was held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Inverness, FL. Barbara's life will also be celebrated during Memorial Services on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at The Touch Point Church Ministries, 11310 Montgomery Road, Beltsville, MD.
