Born and Raised in Norfolk Virginia. Loving Wife, Mother and Bubby extraordinaire.
Vice President and Treasurer of Massey Shoes and the Jerber Corporation. Arlington Fairfax Jewish Center Participation Fundraiser. One of the founders of the "Congregation Olam Tikvah" Synagogue in Fairfax Virginia. Was one of the original Fundraisers to build Fairfax Hospital.
Daughter of Harry and Mary Chesler Siegel; beloved wife of Lieutenant Colonel Jerome L. Massey US Army (Retired) for 68 years; mother of Ruth Anne Leichter (Harry), Hedy Lynn Osmunson (Lorence), Harriet M. Van De Riet (Jack), and A. Mark Massey (Kathy); Bubby "Grandmother" to Eric Leichter, Becky (Osmunson) Harper, Bree (Van De Riet) Righter, Steven Osmunson, Jack Van De Riet, Josh Van De Riet, Sean Lower, Aaron Massey. Great Grandmother to Aliyah Leichter, Olivia Leichter, Maya Leichter, Elliot Leichter, Skylar Leichter, Malka Osmunson, Eva Harper, Mendy Osmunson and Hadassah Van De Riet.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, by her four brothers, Sidney, Irving, Herbert and Arthur, and her sister, Pearl Siegel (Brodsky, Vogel.). Services previously held.
