B. "Bess" M. Carter, of Falls Church, VA, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, peacefully at home with her loving family and friend, Jennifer Money, by her side. She is survived by daughter, Rose M. Carpenter; grandchildren, Kimberly R. Smith, and Earl K. Carpenter Jr.; great-grandchildren, Michael A. Smith and William K. Smith. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Capitol Caring Hospice,
www.capitalhospice.org. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Chapel Service Friday, June 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. Burial to follow at National Memorial Park.
