HI CHARLIE, ANN & JESSICA, Our love to Emory. A young friend of mine, Angie, and her sister went to Burning Man last year. I told them all about Brad; and his spirit of adventure. I still have one of his hats that I wear on occasion.

To the Bacon Family & Deborah Byrd - You are in my prayers! I pray in the days, weeks, and months ahead you find restored peace and joy! Brad had a very welcoming spirit that I'm sure warmed the hearts of all he encountered. As a neighbor Brad always had a smile and a friendly hello! My fondness memory of Brad came this past August when my husband and I were packing our youngest child's things in the car for her first year of college. Brad was standing outside chatting with her when suddenly he said "wait right there, I have something for you!" He ran into the house and returned with a brass bell on a string. Brad instructed her to hang it over the door of her dorm room so she would always be aware of someone entering her room. With that, he told her to be safe and enjoy the experience. Brad's cheerful smile and friendly greetings will be missed!

I loved the way your faces lit up whenever you talked about Brad, and reading people's comments it is clear that he had an incredible zest for life and that his spirit lives on in all those he brought joy.... Wow. Some things in life are REALLY hard to accept. I have always looked foreward to seeing brad, heck even a phone message was a special thing that made me smile.
He was my friend and a bright light others wanted to be close to. I am profoundly troubled by his passing.......

Brad was a young man who loved his son, his sister and parents. He talked about them often. The last time I saw him, he was off with his friends to the Burning Man festival out west, happy and excited...the way he lived so much of his creative life. What a joy!
