BRENDA LEIGH PARKER  

Born in Washington, DC May 7, 1949 and passed away on June 16, 2012 in Palmetto, FL. Brenda taught elementary physical education in the Arlington County Public Schools for 30 years. She graduated from George C. Marshall High School in 1967, and from Radford College in '71, and received her masters degree at George Mason University in 2000. Brenda follows her sister, Bonita, in death, and is survived by her mother, Jessie Parker, brothers Robert and Steve Parker, and her partner of 36 years, Ronne Rogin. A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post, 4206 Daniels Ave., Annandale, VA on Saturday, June 23 from 3 to 6 p.m. Dress is casual. Donations may be made to the Food Bank of Manatee County, 811 23rd Ave. East, Bradenton FL 34208.
