Chris and I were roommates (or at least we shared the same bathroom and he was steady in my room even in not so appropriate times...). We were the only male English majors at VCU in class together. Oh, yeah and that other guy who we actually called other English guy or something like that. Chris to me woke me up from the mundane life we were living. We would joke on other people, on each other, on his crazy roommate (a lot). He loved music of all types and he was always willing to try out new things. I remember silly things about him, like the first time he decided to grow a goat-tee because he needed to look as sophisticated as he felt. Or the time we hid my roommates TV. That was classic. He seemed to see the extraordinary little things that most people don't even think about. He had different tastes and many different types of friends. I am just glad I could be one of them.
