Charles Daniels Rogers, age 70, passed away, after a short illness, on Sunday, November 11, 2012, while surrounded by his loving family. The Statesboro, NC native lived in both Charles County, MD and Port St. Lucie, FL for most of his life. Danny is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Ruth Helen and H.D. Manley; and father, Wiley S. Rogers of Statesboro, GA. He is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Laura Bowie-Garrett and Michael Garrett of Port Tobacco, MD; and Sharon Rogers of Largo, MD; granddaughter, Miranda; step-granddaughter, Emily; two sisters and brother-in-law, Florine R. and Tommy Brown of Statesboro, GA; Linda R. Eagle of Atlanta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Richard W. and Marie Rogers of Jessup, GA; special nephew, Doy Travis Hooks of Statesboro, GA; and several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sheree Bell of Port St. Lucie, FL.
