CLAYTON D. WARMAN  

Died September 7, 2012 at the age of 87 from complications of Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM) in Frederick, MD. Wife of 63 years to Anne I. Warman. Father of Beth Lang (Peter), Cummington, MA; Thomas Warman (Carolyn) York, PA; and Grace Polan (Stephen) Bethesda, MD. Grandfather of Nick (Nichole) Warman, Laura Warman, Sondra Polan and Suzanne Polan. Great grandfather of Liliana May Warman. Also survived by his sister, Ruth Naugle of Gettysburg, PA.
Born December 11, 1924 in Gettysburg, PA. An Eagle Scout and a graduate of Gettysburg College. A veteran of World War II, serving in Europe in the 80th Infantry Division receiving a battlefield commission, Silver Star, three Purple Hearts, Combat Infantry Badge, four Battle Stars and a Presidential Unit Citation for involvement at the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne, Belgium.
Worked for Procter and Gamble for 39 years in the U.S., Mexico and Switzerland. Was active in many community and church activities; a serious student of Civil War history. He was a resident of Buckingham's Choice, Adamstown, MD since January 2000.
Memorial Services to be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Buckingham's Choice, 3200 Baker Circle, Adamstown, MD 21710. Reception to follow. Private interment at Gettysburg Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Johns Hopkins Myositis Center, Attn: Gifts, or the Buckingham's Choice Residents' Assistance Fund.
