Dear Alan and Darleen,

I am so sorry to hear, just today, that you have lost your daughter Darcy. I didn't know her well, but I vividly recall how she lit up the room on two or three occasions during our Hospice years together. She had your great spirit. How proud of her you must be, and how thankful to have had her in your lives. I will say a special prayer for her and you in church tomorrow - with the hope you will find joy as you remember the joy she brought to you and, I know, so many others.

With deepest sympathy,

Dear Brian and Amy and Cors family,

What a sad shock to learn of Darcy's illness and death. I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember her quite clearly when she started World Civ I as a 9th grader at Langley--the third of the Cors clan! She was a pistol, your little sister! You were so lucky to have her in your lives. From what others have written I'm sorry I never got to meet her as an adult.

I was so saddened to read of Darcy's passing. I was her next door neighbor when she lived in her townhouse in Reston. We took care of each others cats when either of us was away and she was a joy to have next door. To her family and to you Scott, I am so sorry for your loss. Vashti, Alana & Elyse Smith

Scott, Amy & Entire Cors Family -

I know I won't be able to do anything but cry tomorrow and hug you tomorrow. I just wanted to say that Darcy has been a bright spot in my life for as long as I can remember. She was crazy and fun and taught me to lighten up a little. She was elegant and proper one minute and easily capable of being a wild child the next. I love her and miss her very much.

Amy - I'm so sad that we've lost touch. Please call or email anytime. I'd love to talk with you.

Scott,Cors Family

I met Darcy when she came to Breckenridge CO to work for the Breckenridge Ski Area. Life was never dull with Darcy around. She is making heaven much livelier! I will miss her visits to Breckenridge.

Scott and the Cors Family - I met Darcy almost at day 1 of my start at Capital One - almost 7 years ago. If ever there was a reason to come to work it was because running into Darcy always made it a better, brighter day. She was the sunlight when there was none and everyone she knew wanted to bask in her light. When I would run into Darcy on my Saturday trips to Wegmans my husband wound up doing all the shopping because we would be standing in the aisle and laughing and joking. Please know that her short time here on earth is a loss for us all. My heartfelt sympathies to your entire family.

Our dear friend Darcy,
Beautiful inside and out, I miss seeing you around. It is hard.... may God give strength to all the family members to bear this unbearable loss. May you be the angel and guard them with your love and shine like a bright star in the heavenly sky.
