DEMETRA ANDRAKAKOS "Tula"
On Friday, November 30, 2012 of Rockville, MD. Daughter of the late Vasile and Vasilike Andrakakos; beloved sister of Pippy Lampiris, Marika Brenner and the late Gus and Tommy Andrakakos; brother-in-law of Spencer Lampiris; and sister-in-law of Polly Andrakakos. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends. She was much loved by all. Demetra served for 40 years at the Pentagon and at the U.S. Military Court of Appeals. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 15100 New Hampshire Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20905. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made her memory to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church 701-A Norwood Road Silver Spring, MD 20905. Arrangements by PHILIP D. My thoughts are with you and your family Mary, I know how much your sister meant to you and how close you were. I was glad to have met her a couple of times when she dropped you off. May her soul rest in peace and my God comfort you in your time of grief. You have an angel now.
