On Saturday, February 10, 2018, Doris Patricia Brown of Washington, DC passed away.She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick Brown Sr, Anna Genevieve Brown Benton, her brother Frederick Brown Jr, and her step-father Albion Benton Sr.Doris worked for 32 years. in the federal courts. six years for Judge David Tatel in the Court of Appeals and 25 years for Judge Gerhard Gesell in the District Court.Services will be Wednesday, February 21. Guests will be received at Holy Trinity Church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Social Justice Ministries, 3513 N Street NW, Washington, DC 20007; Perry School Community Services Center INC at 128 M Street NW, Suite #100, Washington, DC 20001; or a charity of your choice,Internment will be at a later date in Massachusetts. Doris was good friend and neighbor to us for many years and we'll have great memories of how kind she was to our children. She will be missed dearly.
