Of Oakland, PA, and Washington, D.C., died Saturday, November 17, 2012. She was born April 26, 1948, to the late Stephen and Mary Suss. She was the loving sister of Joseph, Naomi, John and the late Charlie; and dear aunt of Stephen, Sean and Stacey. Esther earned a Ph.D. in 1972 and worked as an economist for the International Monetary Fund for 31 years. She traveled to 32 countries for work and was the first IMF resident representative to Latvia from 1992 to 1994 with the rank of ambassador. No visitation. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Braddock Catholic Cemetery Chapel, Braddock Hills. Arrangements by the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME INC., Swissvale.
