On Friday, May 11, 2012, ESTHER L. DEITZ of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of Dr. Leonard L. Deitz; devoted mother of David (Diane) Deitz, Leslie (Martin) Kaplan, Emily and Ellen Deitz, Alison (Charles) Charman and Richard (Marina) Deitz; dear sister of Bernard Wein, Judy Mayerfeld and the late Sonia Wein Bialkin; loving grandmother of Jacob Deitz, Sydney Kaplan, Andrew, Henry and Sonia Charman, Nathaniel, Ethan and Samuel Deitz. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012, 11:30 a.m. at Shaare Tefila Congregation, 16620 Georgia Avenue, Olney, MD. Interment following at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. Shiva will be observed at the late residence through Thursday, May 17, 2012. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association.
