On Saturday, January 12, 2013, long-time resident of North Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved husband of 60 years of the late Anne Keogh Senftle; son of the late Edward Matthew and Edith Weppner Senftle of Buffalo, NY; brother of the late Mary (Larry) Bowles of Suitland and Margaret Senftle of Buffalo; loving father of Mary (Frank) Somogyi of Creve Coeur, MO, Anne-Francis Senftle of Germantown, MD, Joseph (Tina) Senftle of Darnestown, MD, Frank P. Senftle of North Chevy Chase, MD, Theresa (James) Quine of North Potomac, MD, and Patrick (Catherine) Senftle of Montgomery Village, MD; beloved grandfather of Kenneth Somogyi, Rebecca Logsdon, William Somogyi, Austin Somogyi, Matthew Senftle, Jesse Brown, Jason Brown, Jenna Brown, Michael Quine, Patrick Quine, Timothy Quine, Kevin Quine, Melissa Gerstle, Shannan Fratto, Thomas Senftle, Anita Senftle, Tess Senftle, and Luke Senftle. Also survived by six great-grandchildren and 18 nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Holy Redeemer Church, 9701 Summit Avenue, Kensington, MD on Friday, January 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 19, at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
