On December 11, 2012 of Warrenton, VA; former longtime resident of Oakton, VA; loving husband of 57 years of Eileen F. Grenfell; father of Frederick W. Grenfell, Jr., Oakton, VA, Elizabeth R. Chesson, Goochland, VA and Katherine L. Marshall, Marshall, VA; brother of Mary Lou Borcherding, Fredericksburg, VA. Also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Grenfell served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was the owner of the former Hunt Electric Company. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 271 Winchester St., Warrenton, VA 20186. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 or to the , PO Box 1095, Warrenton, VA 20188.
