GEORGE DAVID GREEN (Age 53) "Dave"  
Of College Park, MD died July 13, 2012 in Bowie, MD after a long struggle with squamous cell cancer. Born September 14, 1958 in Fairfax, MO, to George R. Green and Maryon Westcott Green Edwards. He is survived by his parents and their spouses: George Green and Barbara Klein of McLean, VA and Maryon and Mark Edwards of Minneola, FL, and a brother R. Scott Green his wife Suzanne Forman and family of Derwood, MD, and Dave's significant other, Katherine Rowe of Bowie, MD. He was an electronics specialist and owned CompNetDoc Inc., a microcomputer repair businesses in College Park, MD. He invented several electronics devices, including ThermalRider, RamStar, and DriveQualifier. He was known for his love of hiking, cycling, and hang gliding and helping others. A memorial service and reception will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church, 3215 Powder Mill Road, Adelphia, MD 20783. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Dave's honor may be directed to support cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. Please make checks payable to Johns Hopkins Medicine with a memo indicated that this gift is in memory of George David Green to the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, 100 North Charles Street, Suite 234, Baltimore, MD 21201.

Dr. Dave. Fun loving guy with allot of wit. Spent a few hours with him years ago when he came up to get a used glider. Hell of a pilot too. Goodbye Dr. Dave.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a free spirit who gave of himself. I knew him via compunet and always enjoyed seeing him and recommended him to many. He will be missed by the Sciannella family.

Dave was always there for us to help us with our computer issues at he office. He handled all of our "mess ups" with grace and humor. We got to know him as our computer guy and friend. He will be missed. Debbie, Leslie and Lynn
