On Saturday, December 1, 2012 in Aurora, CO formerly of Chevy Chase, MD. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, his hobby farm in West Virginia, playing the piano and traveling. He spent his career with NASA (and its predecessor, NACA) as an electrical engineer and was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal for his participation in the Apollo program.
Beloved husband of 57 wonderful years to the late Helen R. Truszynski; loving father of Joan T. (James) Lolcama and Carl G. (Nancy) Truszynski; cherished grandfather of Christina Ochoa and James Lolcama, Jr. Friends will be received at PUMPHREY'S BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE FUNERAL HOME, 7557 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Church, 9705 Summit Avenue, Kensington, MD on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
