Great friend, great cut-up, loved to laugh, and the smartest propulsion guy I ever knew.

Gerry was my coworker from 1977-95. He was my good friend and lent a shoulder when I needed one. He was highly respected by everyone and certainly by me. I am greatly saddened to hear of his passing. He was indeed a gentle and generous man.

As a friend and coworker from 1976-93, I have many good memories of Gerry, as well as the deepest respect for his work and character. I often thought of him and will miss him, a gentle and generous man.
