Departed this life peacefully on April 27, 2013 at Fairfax Nursing Center. He was born in Manassas, Virginia where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy Marie Lawson. He began work as a junior accountant at G.P. Graham while earning his Accounting degree and passing the CPA exam. He became the youngest partner moving on to senior and then left to practice with his son, Guy, Jr., who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, daughters Janet (Kuhl) and Karen, daughter-in-law Vicky, son-in-law Mike Kuhl, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. Visitation will be May 2 at Arlington/Murphy Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be May 3 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church. He will be laid to rest following services at National Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to National Capital Area, 3701 Pender Dr., Fairfax, VA or Capital Caring, 2900 Telestar Ct., Falls Church, VA.
