Harry Paynter Obituary


HARRY ALVIN PAYNTER, SR.  Col., USAF (Ret.)  President, Gas Appliance  Manufacturers Association  
On Friday, January 7, 2011 in Brenham, Texas. Born July 22, 1923, Miami, AZ, son of the late Mabel Vera Moore Paynter and Harry Paynter. He is survived by his wife, Betty Wilkins Paynter; his brother, John Charles Paynter; four children, Harry Alvin Paynter, Jr., Steven Wilkins Paynter (and Marion), Barbara Paynter Barnett (and Joseph) and Susan Moore Paynter (and Joseph Hasankulizade); seven grandchildren, Joshua, David, Christopher and Laura Paynter, Elizabeth, Joseph and Steven Barnett; and four great-grandchildren, Enzo, Nico, Jaxon and Maks Paynter. His family is pleased that his beautiful spirit is free to soar again. Graveside Service, with Burial of Ashes, will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at 1 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2011. Memorial contributions in Harry's name may be sent to: Capital Hospice, Philanthropy Office, 2900 Telestar Ct., Falls Church, VA 22042.
