While attending college, Mr. Davies foxhunted regularly with the Marlboro Hunt Club. After his retirement, Mr. Davies summered in his wife's home town of Vienna, Austria. He and his wife were devoted bridge players, and they enjoyed concerts at the Kennedy Center. He will be remembered for his willingness to help others in his volunteer activities.

Mr. Davies will be missed by his loving wife of 45 years, by his brothers Gene Davies and Neal Davies, and by his many nieces and nephews.
