HENRIETTA THOMSON FLANDERS "Tommie" (Age 92)  

Of Alexandria, VA died peacefully at her home on August 4, 2012. Loving wife of the late William Ferguson Flanders; devoted mother of William Ferguson Flanders, Jr., Sheila Flanders Wright, Betsy Flanders DeShazo; mother-in-law to Judith Flanders and Robert DeShazo III; cherished grandmother of Sherry Cameron Kannar, Catherine Flanders Frank, Elizabeth Flanders, Carly DeShazo; great-grandmother of Samuel, Jillian, Henry, Cameron Rose. Family and friends are invited to Tommie's Life Celebration at Green Spring Gardens, 4603 Green Spring Road, Alexandria, VA 22312 on Friday, August 10, at 2 p.m. A private interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In her memory, contributions may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
