Peacefully departed this life at home in Upper Marlboro, MD on June 29, 2012 with his wife and children by his side. He was born in Washington, DC on October 16, 1964. He leaves to cherish in his memory his devoted wife, Marquita Slaughter-Cook; son, Howard S. Cook; daughters, Juantale Cook and Chari Christie; three grandchildren; mother, Juanita Harris; father, Howard Cook Sr.; brother, Aaron Reed; sister, Antoinette Carter; sister-in-law, Frances Slaughter; brother-in-law, Delonte
Clyburn; dedicated cousin, Benjamin Higginbotham; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 at New Canaan Baptist Church, 2826 Bladensburg, Road N.E., Washington, DC; viewing 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Services 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
