HUGH LENAHAN  

Passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 25, 2012, in Reston, Virginia. One of eight children, he was born on August 3, 1920, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Edward and Jeanette Lenahan. Hugh was a graduate of Saint Bonaventure University and a former military officer in the U.S. Air Force. He was a long-time resident of New Windsor, New York, where he retired as a civilian employee of the U.S. Army, U.S. Military Academy at West Point. A life-long devoted Catholic, Hugh was a member of the parish of Saint Joseph Church in Herndon, VA. Hugh is survived by his loving wife Nancy of 51 years, daughter, Jean Lenahan McCoy, grandson, Paul McCoy, and several nephews and nieces. Relatives and friends may call at ADAMS-GREEN Funeral Home, 721 Elden St, Herndon, VA on Sunday, December 30 from 3 to 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Church, 750 Peachtree St., Herndon, VA, on Monday, December 31 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
