JAMES JOSEPH AYLOR  

On January 10, 2013, James Joseph Aylor "Jim" of Falls Church, VA, died of pancreatic cancer. He was the son of John O. and Josephine F. Aylor and brother of John R. Aylor, all of whom pre-deceased him. Jim was the treasured husband of Jane C. Aylor, beloved brother-in-law of Mary Lou Aylor, devoted uncle of Lisa-Marie Begerow (Robert), John C. Aylor (Kristy), Michael A. Aylor (Jolene) and loving godfather of Alyson and Andrew Frazier and Mary Paige and John Henry Harbison. He was loved by many cousins and close friends. Jim was born in Washington, DC and was a lifelong resident of the Washington metropolitan area. He attended Notre Dame and Georgetown Universities and worked in residential and commercial real estate as well as hotel sales and franchising in a career that spanned many years. Jim was a member of Christ Church Parish in Kensington, Maryland. In addition, he was a past President and Board member of the Kiwanis Club of Bethesda, as well as a Board member of the Bethesda Kiwanis Foundation and the Miracle League of Montgomery County. A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held on Saturday, January 19 at 11 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 4001 Franklin Street, Kensington, MD 20895.
