JAMES PATRICK STEWART (Age 91)
Passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012 at his beach house in Ocean City surrounded by his loving family. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Donald Stewart and Josephine Sheara Stewart. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret Sullivan Stewart.
Mr. Stewart was a U.S. Marine veteran having served in
WWII in the Pacific. He had worked as a Medical Photographer at Walter Reed National Medical Center for 35 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Leslie Freeman and her husband Edward of Leesburg, VA; two grandchildren, Valerie Short and her husband Edgar of Fairfax, VA and Kathryn Simon and her husband Tom of Cary, NC; and one great granddaughter, Casey Simon. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Thomas Stewart and his sister, Mary Margaret Stewart.
Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to
