JAMES THEO WILLIAMS  
CWO 4, U.S. Marine Corps (Retired)  

James Theo Williams passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Olney, Maryland, two days after his 96th birthday. Born in Penrose, NC in 1918, he enlisted in the Marine Corps just prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. His career spanned 31 years. He saw tours of duty in the Pacific during World War II and in Viet Nam in 1967-1968. He retired in 1972.
He was predeceased by his wife Marion Virginia Holloway Williams in 2007, and is survived by two sons, Richard James Williams and wife Jannie of Hampton, VA and Robert Ashley Williams and wife Ruth of Silver Spring, MD, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren (one more on the way), five great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service and interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery on April 16, 2014 at 1 p.m.
