JANET ELIZABETH HIGGS
January 30, 1932 - March 30, 2012
Our Mother is walking with the Lord. She passed after complications from open heart surgery in Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, Florida
She may be gone in body, but is forever with us in spirit. Her strength, wisdom and will to survive can never be measured; her love, understanding and smile, never forgotten; her Mother's touch, forever felt.
She is proceeded by Michael T. Higgs, stepson and survived by three children, Sandra L. Jacobs of Lusby, MD, Jay S. Smith of Laurel, MD and Joette M. Higgs of Navarre Beach, FL; three stepchildren of her late husband, Joseph A. Higgs, Sr., 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on September 28, 2012 at 11: a.m. at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Hwy (US 301), Cheltenham, MD.
