JOHN DAVID JACKSON
"Police Jack"
On Wednesday May 23, 2012, John D. Jackson, the much loved father of The Honorable Dwight Jackson (Gwendolyn), Karen McDaniel, Cheryl Logan, Terry Lawlah (John) and Lisa Jackson, passed away. He was 78. In addition to his children, he is survived by eight grandchildren, Cassie Logan, Lillie and Leora Lawlah, Clark and Payne Jackson, Lindsey, Laura and John McDaniel. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Jackson (Bernice); sister, Consuelo Jackson and a host of family members and friends. As was his wish, he will be cremated and join his late wife Shirley Valentine Jackson at Arlington National Cemetery. Services will be held at a later date. We will miss him. His was a life well lived.
