JOHN FREDERICK BLOOMINGDALE
(Age 69) "Bloomie"
On Friday, June 29, 2012 beloved husband of Joanne M. Bloomingdale for 46 years died in their Burke, VA home. He was the devoted father of son John T. and his wife Diane L. Bloomingdale of Centreville, VA and daughter Laura A. and her husband Jerome E. Pawlak of Manassas, VA. He was the loving brother of Mary Louise Bloomingdale (RSHM) of Tarrytown, NY and Ann M. Toohey of Richmond, VA. He was the adoring grandfather of JJ, Sammy and Jack Pawlak. He will also be missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John served 25 years with the Fairfax County Sheriff's Department.
Friends may visit at Church of the Nativity of Our Lord, 6400 Nativity Lane, Burke, VA on Friday, July 6 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
