JOHN WARREN BERRY  

Born May 9, 1924 in Anaconda, Montana, passed away on November 6, 2012. Surrounded by family, he passed away peacefully at his beloved home in Culpeper, Va. He retired from the U.S. Navy proudly serving as an aviator during the Korean War. After retirement he developed Berry Land Agency, a Taxes Limited, and Berryvale, a private aviation community.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Jane Berry; his four children: Jack Berry of Manassas, VA; Sherry B. Davis of Greenville, SC; Richard Berry (Charlene) of Centreville, VA; Michael Berry (Marilou) of Bristow, VA; two step children: Barbara Frostman (David) and Robert Luzader (Victoria); 15 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Culpeper United Methodist Church.
Services will be held Friday, 1 p.m., November 23, 2012 at Clore-English Funeral Home in Culpeper. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Burial will follow at the Culpeper National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the , 1445 Rio Road East, Charlottesville, VA 22901 (www.cancer.org).
