Dr. KAREN W. TYSON (Age 60)
On May 9, 2012 in Arlington, VA. An Economist for over 25 years with the Institute for Defense Analyses, she was a member and leader of the Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church in Alexandria, VA. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katie Tyson in 2009. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Herb Tyson; siblings, Janice, Mike and Greg Windau; numerous nieces and nephews and their extended families. A celebration of Karen's life will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church, 1909 Windmill Lane, Alexandria, VA 22307.
