KARL BELL (Age 66)  

Long time Largo, MD resident and owner of Maple Leaf Landscaping, died unexpectedly this past Friday, February 22, 2013. He was born on March 16, 1946 in Easton, PA. Along with being a well respected business owner, he was a stand out high school athlete, played football for the University of MD and was a decorated Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed watching sports on television, playing poker, golfing, fishing, going to horse races and could often be heard singing lines of his favorite songs. He is survived by his daughter, Katherine Taylor and son-in-law, David Taylor II of Annapolis, brothers William Bell, Jr., Barry Bell and sister-in-law Joanne Bell, Charles Bell, Sr., Ralph Bell and sister Charlotte DeHart and brother-in-law Bruce DeHart all of Easton, PA along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former wife, Mary Kirk of Annapolis. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund or Wounded Warrior Project. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park.
